Meet John Braimoh

John Braimoh is an entrepreneur, business professional with a background in financial services and mortgage services, project management, and a dedicated community advocate who believes that strong neighbourhoods and thriving communities are built through service, collaboration, and listening.

John holds a Master’s in Project Management from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Quantity Surveying from the Federal University of Technology. He has also completed additional professional training in Project Management, Debt Collection and Management, Advanced Communication Skills, and Customer Service. His educational background, combined with his professional experience, has equipped him with strong skills in project planning, financial services, mortgage services, communication, problem-solving, and organizational leadership.

With experience in financial services, mortgage services, business, project management, and community development, John brings a practical, compassionate, and solution-focused approach to his work. His commitment extends beyond his professional career through years of volunteering, supporting local initiatives, bringing people together, and helping create opportunities for families, youth, newcomers, and small businesses.

• Better Roads and Infrastructure — Advocating for better-maintained roads, sidewalks, traffic management, and infrastructure that keeps pace with community needs.
• Reliable City Services — Working toward responsive services, including timely snow clearing, cleaner public spaces, and better day-to-day municipal service delivery.
• Supporting Local Businesses — Encouraging economic opportunity, supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses, and creating an environment where local businesses can grow.
